About Carissa

My father owned a mortgage brokerage firm, and that’s where I quickly learned the importance of good credit. I obtained my real estate license after college and then began helping clients finance their homes in Northern California. I have tirelessly worked to grow my expertise in sales and marketing to come full circle with my passions: finance and real estate. Investing in a home is a big deal, and I do not take my role lightly. It's an honor to be involved in this milestone, and I want my clients to feel that I care – because I do.

I was born and raised in the heart of wine country: Sonoma County, California. In 2010, I worked as communications manager for more than 50 international wine and spirits brands at one of the world’s largest wine companies. My next adventure involved working closely with the nation’s top orthopedic doctors and neurosurgeons as a spinal and biologics sales consultant. This role taught me that I can persevere under any given circumstance.

As your mortgage lender, I am 100% focused on you. Communication is key, from listening to your home financing needs to sharing information with you every step of the way. I care deeply about people and believe the measure of a person’s life is the effect they have on others. In some small way, I hope to help people achieve their dreams from buying a first home to establishing a college fund for their children.

I focus on three key areas that are becoming increasingly integral in my life: a healthy mindset, respect in my career, and surrounding myself with solid people. As an American-Swedish citizen, I have cultivated a passion for language, food, and wine through my international studies and travels. I am fluent in Swedish and enjoy hiking, painting, reading, playing guitar, and sipping aged Scotch with my beloveds.
