I’m celebrating more than 20 years in the mortgage industry. Through all the ups and downs, I’ve managed to grow my business year after year and maintain a very loyal client base. Many of my customers have returned years later, and it’s fun assisting them as they move up in options.
I learned professionalism and salesmanship from my father, who since 1987 has owned the same small used-car dealership. He taught me to provide every client with an experience that’s gratifying enough so that later he could look them in the eye knowing he treated them right. That’s the best business lesson I’ve ever learned, and I apply it every day.
While there are plenty of ways to measure success in home lending, referrals make me stand out in a very crowded field. So much of my success comes from word-of-mouth references originating from previous clients and business partners.
My leisure time is dedicated to supporting local sports, dog rescue, and the world of fast cars and motorcycles. Throughout the years, my family has fostered and rescued numerous dogs. We’re currently loving our fourth rescue dog, Diesel. I’m the oldest of seven kids from Northwest Philadelphia and am a proud alumnus of Bishop McDevitt High School and Penn State.
I feel fortunate to have helped thousands of homeowners, and I feel like it’s just the beginning. In a time when homes fly off the market, my accessibility is the most valuable tool I can give my clients. I often use the phrase “this is what you hired me for” when a customer thanks me for working through the evening or on weekends. It still amazes me when they’re taken aback after I say it. But that’s really what this is all about – being there for you. It feels good knowing my work ethic and availability equal the difference you need to get your most desired mortgage outcome.
