Your Loan Servicing FAQs

The following FAQs are provided to help you answer common questions regarding your new mortgage payments.
CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) has partnered with a servicing company to collect payments and manage the proper escrow of taxes and insurance payments. Our partner is Dovenmuehle Mortgage (DMI) and specializes in mortgage payment processing by providing convenient features and dedicated resources for collections, reporting, and servicing your loan.
1) How do I pay my mortgage?
You can pay your mortgage by check/mail, by phone or online https://myccmortgage.yourmortgageonline.com/ . To pay online, please have your CCM loan number available to properly create an account and register your loan with the portal.

2) Who do I make the check payable to?
Checks should be made payable to CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC.
If using the online payment portal to process payment your bank statement will show an ACH transaction payable to DOVENMUEHLE MTG.
3) When is my mortgage payment due?
Your first mortgage payment will be due on the first of the month after skipping the month that follows the closing of your loan. Example: closed on June 15th, first payment due August 1st.
The due date for your monthly mortgage payment will be clearly marked on your statement. The last day the payment must be received by DMI to avoid late fees will also be indicated in finer print.
4) I received a tax bill. What should I do?
If you escrow your taxes, DMI will process the tax payment on your behalf. If you do not escrow your taxes, you are responsible for submitting payment. If you’re unsure of whether or not you escrow your taxes, you can reference the online portal or your mortgage statement to confirm. If needed, please contact DMI at 1-877-538-8790 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST and have your loan number available.

If you receive a delinquent, adjusted, or corrected tax bill please forward a copy directly to the address above.
5) I refinanced my loan and am expecting to receive a check from my prior mortgage company for the escrow refund. When will that check arrive?
Most often, escrow refund checks will arrive within 30 days of settling your refinance transaction. If you don’t receive your check within 30 days, please contact your prior mortgage company and have your old loan number available. If you have issues, CCM is available to assist securing your escrow refund.
6) When will I receive my year-end mortgage interest statement?
DMI will issue by mail and make Form 1098 available online by January 31st.
7) What does a recast of my CCM loan mean?
A mortgage recast, also called mortgage re-amortization, allows the borrower to put a lump sum toward their principal mortgage balance, keeping the same loan term and interest rate while reducing their monthly payment. Only available for CCM-serviced FNMA and FHLMC. Government loans are not eligible for recast. Currently, there is a non-refundable $300 fee to recast an eligible loan.
To start the recast process the borrower must submit a written request to [email protected] with the planned curtailment amount of $10,000 or greater.
8) My question isn’t listed here. What should I do?
