Summer

As we approach the end of summer, many of us feel it’s time to get back to “normal.” At Team Montani, we reject the notion that the end of summer means the end of summer fun.

As we approach the end of summer, many of us feel it’s time to get back to “normal.” Summer vacations are behind many of us, kids are going back to school, jobs offering the benefit of “summer Fridays” will be bringing that perk to an end, and we’ll soon be trading “fun in the sun” for “sweater weather.” At Team Montani, we reject the notion that the end of summer means the end of summer fun.

To many, summer is about making the most of your free time and being outside to appreciate the weather. Unfortunately, it also seems as though once Labor Day weekend hits, everything previously mentioned goes away in favor of heading to the office and working until the holiday season rolls around. When we think about what summer represents, it’s not the barbeques, beach trips, and golf outings. Summer is about the attitude of seizing the day, appreciating the limited time and opportunities we have, and enjoying that time with family and friends.

We believe you should treat every day like a summer day. Take the time to appreciate the environment around you. Keep going outside. Don’t let work, school, and other responsibilities keep you from being with friends and family. Life might get busier, and the weather might get cooler; but if we continue to seize the day, it can be summer all year long.

There’s a reason everyone seems happier during the summer, so why not try to create summer all the time? As much as summer is a time of the year, it’s also a feeling and mindset – so keep that feeling. Have a happy summer!
