Jessie’s Macaroni Salad

Enjoy a simple summer delight


1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsps. sour cream

1 tbsp. Dijon mustard

1 tbsp. sherry vinegar

2 tsps. sugar

1/2-lb. macaroni pasta

1 tbsp. fresh dill

2 large stalks celery

1 small red bell pepper

1/2 small red onion

Kosher salt

Black pepper


  1. Cook your pasta to package directions. Drain when finished, rinse in cold water, and set aside once cooled.
  2. Prep the veggies and herbs by roughly chopping the dill, dicing the celery, dicing the onion and rinsing it in cold water, and seeding and dicing the bell pepper.
  3. Whisk the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, vinegar, and sugar together in a small bowl. Season the dressing with salt and black pepper.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the macaroni, dill, celery, onion, and bell pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss together. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve immediately or keep up to two days in the fridge to be ready for your next summer party!
