About Paulo

I have lived in seven countries on four different continents and speak English and Spanish fluently, as well as being proficient in Portuguese. My engineering education supports my detail-oriented approach to home financing, helping me identify potential lending issues and conquer problems before they happen. This translates to smooth transactions and punctual closings.

I entered the mortgage industry in 2005 after attending Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Unlike many mortgage professionals, I stayed in the industry throughout the 2008 financial crisis and subsequent recovery. This allowed me to experience mortgage lending at its worst and best moments, but I never deviated from my goal to give my clients the best service possible.

My upbringing and experience provided me with a unique ability to serve domestic and foreign high-net-worth clients. They need a loan officer who understands the complexities of corporate structures used for estate planning and asset protection. For this reason, many financial advisors and high-end real estate agents refer their clients to me.

Although I am licensed to lend in multiple states, most of my experience has been in South Florida. I am an expert in the intricacies of condominium lending, as well as the highly complex world of out-of-the-ordinary income and asset structures.
