About Jack
Jack Thompson
Jack Thompson is a Regional Manager and Team Partner at CrossCountry Mortgage, bringing decades of leadership, business development, and relationship-building experience to the mortgage industry.
Since joining CrossCountry Mortgage in 2018, Jack has helped lead a mortgage sales team funding more than $300 million annually. Throughout his career, he has built a strong track record of growing businesses, developing lasting relationships, and creating opportunities that deliver measurable results. Earlier in his mortgage career, Jack helped grow a $50 million-per-year enterprise at Chase Mortgage to $2 billion annually in just three years.
Jack’s connection to Washington State University also runs deep. He co-founded CougsFirst! in 2011, an independent nonprofit business network created to connect and support WSU alumni and businesses. He has also served as a Director of the WSU Foundation and on the Board of Advisors for the WSU School of Hospitality Business Management.
Before beginning his business career, Jack was a standout quarterback at Washington State University and was selected as the third overall pick in the first round of the 1979 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Today, Jack brings that same combination of leadership, teamwork, and relationship-building to his work at CrossCountry Mortgage, helping connect clients, partners, and communities with experienced mortgage professionals and resources.
