Company Expresses Appreciation through Donations to Military Family and Other Veteran Recognitions
Cleveland, Ohio, November 5, 2023…In recognition of National Veterans Month, CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) will participate in a variety of initiatives to honor current and former Military Members.
“The American dream of homeownership wouldn’t be possible without the selfless service of our Military,” said Laura Soave, chief brand officer, CCM. “Support for the Military community is part of our always-on CCM Cares efforts, and we are honored to show support year-round to the brave individuals who protect our nation and our rights.”

Covering Veteran Housing Costs
As the official mortgage partner of the Cleveland Browns, CCM participated in the Browns’ Salute to Service game on November 5. CCM surprised a local Military family with $25,000 toward their housing costs. Steven and Jessica Truesdale, from Massillon, met on deployment and both bravely served overseas. Jessica served in the US Army Reserves and Army National Guard from 2003 to 2011. Steven served in the United States Marine Corps and Army National Guard from 1998 to present day.
CCM Military Members Serve as Flag Bearers
60 CCM Veterans and Military family members carried the American flag on the field to kick off the Browns Salute to Service game. The company proudly employs nearly 250 Veterans.
Showing Support for Deployed Service Members
Salute to Service gameday attendees had the opportunity to send a note of gratitude through a digital letting writing platform in partnership with Operation Gratitude. Later in the month, CCM employees across the country will hand-fill 1,000 teddy bears for children of deployed Service Members as part of Operation Gratitude’s Battalion Buddy program.
Special Recognition for Military Employees
CCM proudly recognizes its employee Veterans and Military Members each year through a virtual service wall sharing their incredible stories, a gratitude wall displaying messages of appreciation from colleagues, and a special CCM Military coin sent to all CCM Military Members.
