This program provides up to $4,000 in down payment/closing cost assistance based on Area Median Income (AMI) and other eligibility criteria.

Eligibility requirements for Freddie Mac BorrowSmart Access
- At least one borrower must be a first-time homebuyer
- 1-2 unit primary residences only
- Borrower income must be no more than 140% of AMI*
- Homebuyer counseling required
