CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM), the nation’s number one distributed retail mortgage lender and the Official Mortgage Partner of the Cleveland Browns, wraps up its highly anticipated annual Dedicated Dawgs Sweepstakes with an unforgettable, first-round draft pick-level experience for one lucky winner, Andrew Kennedy of Akron, Ohio.
“This has been an incredible day full of surprises,” said Andrew. “To have my family here and to experience this together has been an amazing opportunity. I’m so excited to be this year’s Dedicated Dawg.”
An Exclusive Dedicated Dawgs Winner Experience
As the sweepstakes winner, Andrew, his wife Shelly and their two children were invited to CrossCountry Mortgage Campus in Berea for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. While they arrived excited to see where and how their favorite team prepares for gamedays, they were surprised with a special moment inside the Cleveland Browns press room. In an unforgettable moment, they received a call from General Manager Andrew Berry, who officially “drafted” Andrew Kennedy as CCM’s first-round pick in the Dedicated Dawgs Sweepstakes.
Presenting The $25,000 Grand Prize
The surprises continued when Eric Wilson, Chief Marketing Officer, CCM, and Cleveland Browns team mascot “Chomps” presented the family with the $25,000 grand prize. The family also received an official Browns jersey and hat, along with an official NFL Salute to Service helmet, in recognition of Andrew’s service in the Military.
“CrossCountry Mortgage is proud to share in this moment for a deserving family. Andrew’s commitment to his family, his years of Military service and dedication to our Northeast Ohio region make him a perfect fit as this year’s Dedicated Dawg,” said Wilson. “This opportunity is just one of the many ways we are able connect with Clevelanders through our partnership with the Cleveland Browns and provide memorable experiences for community members.”
Additional Dedicated Dawgs Sweepstakes Awards
Beyond the Kennedy’s $25,000 grand prize, CCM gave away additional Dedicated Dawgs Sweepstakes awards with a combined value of more than $50,000. These included an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin, two tickets to the 2024 Super Bowl in New Orleans, dozens of passes to enjoy a Cleveland Browns home game from the CrossCountry Mortgage Landing, Browns gear and more.
“Our partnership with CrossCountry Mortgage has always embodied what it means to be a Clevelander by continuing to create lasting impacts in our communities and the Dedicated Dawgs Sweepstakes is no exception, surprising an incredibly deserving local military member with a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Erica Muhleman, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Cleveland Browns. “We want to congratulate Andrew on being selected as this year’s Dedicated Dawg – his commitment to his country, his family and the Browns is remarkable, and we were proud to help play a role in creating this moment for him.”
