Company shows support through partner experiences, volunteer events, and donations to children in need
CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM), the nation’s third largest retail mortgage lender, participated in a variety of initiatives to provide experiences for local youth.
“The future leaders of our organization and the next generation of hopeful homeowners are the youth in our communities,” said Laura Soave, chief brand officer, CCM. “Support of organizations that advance youth education, leadership, and safety is part of our always-on CCM Cares efforts to help make an impact in the lives of these young individuals.”
Among the company’s recent CCM Cares efforts are:
-
Opportunities to Experience the Zoo
As the official mortgage partner of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, CCM hosted three local youth organizations for a Back to School Safari. Nearly 200 children and chaperones from Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland, and Queen IAM enjoyed access to the Zoo and Rainforest, entertainment from costumed characters, lunch, and back-to-school giveaways.
CCM also gifted 150 Asian Lantern Festival tickets to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Northeast Ohio. In support of their mission to reduce barriers for families with a sick child, ticket donations help to provide stress-free outings for those staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
-
Browns Training Camp VIP Experience
Kicking off the Browns season, CCM invited members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland to Browns Training Camp at the CrossCountry Mortgage Campus in Berea. As the official mortgage partner of the Cleveland Browns, children and their ‘bigs’ enjoyed a VIP experience in the Browns hospitality tent.

School Supplies Drive for Local Children
CCM employees generously donated more than 5,000 school supplies items to Shoes and Clothes for Kids as part of FOX 8’s annual Stuff the Bus campaign. CCM volunteers surprised the organization with an additional $1,000 donation to support the event. CCM’s commitment to supporting youth organizations extends year-round. The company looks forward to continuing these commitments in the year ahead.
