CCM Leads Industry on Scotsman Guide’s Top Veteran Originators List
CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM), the nation’s number one retail mortgage lender, is proud to announce that 16 of its loan officers have been recognized on Scotsman Guide’s 2025 Top Veteran Originators list — more than any other lender. This marks an increase in representation from last year, underscoring CCM’s continued dedication and success of our Military Veteran employees.
Jason Smith Ranks #3 Nationwide
Among the 16 recognized, Jason Smith of Scottsdale, Arizona, ranked number three on the list, reflecting his ongoing success and commitment to helping borrowers achieve homeownership.
“Veterans bring unmatched discipline, determination and service to our team, qualities that elevate our ability to help families achieve their homeownership dreams,” said Ron Leonhardt, Founder and CEO, CCM. “Their service to our country is invaluable and we are grateful to have them with us at CCM. Their commitment drives our continued success.”
A Year of Major Milestones for CCM
In addition to celebrating its Veterans, CCM has already had a year of significant wins in 2025. For the second consecutive year, CCM was named the number one retail mortgage lender on the Scotsman Guide Top Lenders list and Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top 50 Mortgage Companies, further solidifying its strength and growth in the mortgage industry.
CCM also leads the Scotsman Guide Top Originators rankings with 504 loan officers recognized, more than any other lender. Matt Weaver (Florida), Jeremy Durkin (Pennsylvania) and Rodrigo Ballon (Utah) were named State Champions in Scotsman Guide’s newest Top Originators category, recognizing the number one originator in each state by dollar volume.
Further proving that CCM has some of the industry’s top talent, 135 female loan officers were recognized on Scotsman Guide’s Top Women Originators list, with five of them ranking within the top 50.
