When we founded this group, we wanted to identify with something beyond the ordinary to represent our business philosophy. Instead of using our last name, we turned to our experience and expectations, and chose Hallasan. By choosing a name representing our highest ideals, we set the standard for our team.

The Hallasan Group is named for the highest peak in South Korea, a country that holds a special place in our hearts after working on several multi-billion-dollar projects there. Mount Hallasan is a symbol of strength and beauty. We strive to combine those same virtues in our everyday interactions with clients, referral partners, and each other.

In early 2020, The Hallasan Group founder Monty Felts was fortunate to spend focused time with the founder of The Ritz-Carlton®, learning about the principles of excellence guiding an outstanding brand. He brought these ideas back to The Hallasan Group, creating our own service standards. All Group members are trained as executives who in turn treat our clients and referral partners as other high-level executives. That’s The Hallasan Group way.
