I’ll be with you every step of the way
Hello! I’m Karla Kyte, a mortgage professional with over 28 years of home loan experience. In 2017, I earned my Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®) designation after identifying a critical gap between divorce settlements and real-world loan guidelines. I now work with divorcing homeowners, real estate agents, attorneys, mediators, legal paraprofessionals, divorce coaches and financial professionals to structure strategies that align with both legal agreements and mortgage qualification requirements.
Over the past three years alone, I’ve consulted with more than 400 divorcing couples nationwide, helping clients navigate complex scenarios such as buy-out refinances, release of liability in divorce, support income qualification, debt allocation and timing strategies.
In addition to my specialized divorce mortgage work, I’m a founding member of The Kyte Team at America’s #1 Retail Mortgage Lender. We’re a mother-daughter partnership I lead alongside my daughter, Kelsi Arrieta.
