I’ll be with you every step of the way
Hello! My name is Jacob Janke, and I’m a loan officer at our Plymouth, Michigan branch. I use the expertise of America’s #1 Retail Mortgage Lender to support you through each step of your home loan journey.
I’m brand new to the mortgage industry but pride myself on being great with numbers and very detailed-oriented coming from an engineering and real estate investment background. I wanted to join the industry to help people acquire their dream home and become a trusted and reliable tool for people to lean on in their biggest purchase.
From pre-approval to closing and beyond, I’ll make sure you know what’s happening with your mortgage and answer your questions along the way. I look forward to giving you outstanding customer service and a personalized home financing experience.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and son.

A good credit score typically starts at 620 for conventional loans, while FHA and VA loans may accept scores as low as 500, though higher scores offer better terms. A strong credit score can help you secure lower interest rates, saving you significant money over the life of a home loan.

A Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) is a revolving line of credit that allows homeowners to borrow against the equity in their home. HELOCs function like a credit card, giving access to funds up to a set limit, which can be used for expenses like renovations or debt consolidation. You only pay interest on the amount you borrow, and the repayment terms typically include a draw period followed by a repayment period.
